this weekend

The weekend started out Friday night with a sleepover.   The whole weekend was blissfully quiet, just kids and cooking, nothing more.
Then, all the real estate broke loose.   There were people who wanted to see houses, and offers came in on a listing, and all at once Saturday spiraled into overdrive.
But this was Friday, still in the calm.

Saturday this guy came to stay while his parents went to Costco.  He loved rolling around on the air mattress with the kids.  He drank a bottle for Grandpa while I was showing a house, and he was NOT going to close his eyes before I left for the next appointment.

But I got him snuggled in with the pacifier and did the baby swoop walk and soon he conked, and I ran out the door.

After that we went to the indoor playground for a while. It's kind of the perfect place for a Saturday in February, lots of hyper kids racing around.

The apparatus is as high as the ceiling.

Then we headed home to cook soup and be ready when another cousin arrived for the Saturday night sleepover.

one week ago, sayulita

We did something new this year, took a trip to Sayulita.   We had a good time.
I texted these pictures to my niece back in Minnesota and we agreed we could use more streamers in life.

one week ago, the botanical garden

In the evening we went back to the boardwalk.  It's cooler there in the evening.

We took a walk on this beach on the north side, near where we stayed a few years ago. It's a very nice beach, not as crowded as the main ones.
