grandparents day

It started with a church service.

There were classroom tours, bingo, an art display, all wonderful.

Jay watched this guy, and prevailed at naptime.

We're so glad we got to see you on your birthday and have cake and sing.  

I think this is going to be a great year, full of fun and new adventures.

It's been a pleasure watching you grow these past nine years, and we are excited for the next nine.

the end of the year

It's over next week, the first year done.

We moved her out of the dorm this morning.

We ran into an old high school teacher of John and Dan's.  It turns out he has a daughter at the U who is friends with Julia. That was a nice surprise.  He's as personable and friendly as he always was.

And moving the stuff back in takes some work, but that's okay.

The park behind has come back to life too.

lacrosse

This is new for us, lacrosse, and it has been a lot of fun.

The end of this game got very, very cold.

This game today of hers though, not cold at all.   Look at that sky.

concerts

Tim had two concerts, the jazz concert and the regular one. Both were wonderful.

He mentioned these may be his last band concerts.  

  Anyway a couple of beautiful evenings.
