 It was hot as the devil, not usual for Memorial Day, but that's just fine.

a pontoon ride and dragonflies

 We headed out for a boat ride with the whole gang.

 It was a gorgeous evening and we were over the limit possibly.

 John bought this ridiculous beach toy in Rice Lake.  It was a lot of fun, but the toy won all battles.

 It was the neighbor's grandchild's birthday and she provided cupcakes for the whole group.  We sang. We ate. It was lovely.

 This is the neighbor's grandson, and he had everyone enthralled with dragonflies.

 People who would shudder to look at a bug--were now holding them and posing for pictures.
