a few from the weekend

He wanted to throw those little cubes around, and they're quite bouncy. There's a board and you points are earned by tossing them in the hole in the middle, and this seems like a thing he could just go ahead and do if he wanted to.

Well, he came and got me by the hand to play too.   Not saying no to that! A personal invitation from a kid?  Absolutely.

I sent this pic to Dani's breeder. She looks like a grown up lady here, not like the overly energetic idiot she often is.  Heidi is good at wearing her out--takes her along on a long walk, throws tortilla chips in the lake to attract fish for her and June.  Dani is so busy eating chips off the water, not sure she even realizes fish are involved.

And little Ruby-Doo.  A couple weeks ago she ran to the neighbors and rolled in something noxious. Naughty.

This crazy moment with the salad--see the empty bowl and all the pasta salad in the lid?  Well, when I took the bowl out of the fridge, the lid popped off. One of the clips wasn't on all the way and the whole thing flew up and then landed on the floor.

Oh my goodness, seriously??

Except!

ALL THE SALAD ENDED UP ON THE LID.

It was a miracle of some kind.

This is a gift from Joe.  He knows how entertained I am by possum sightings on the security camera and this hedge hog looks very possum-like.  Plus the eyes glow in a red, evil way.

He put it right on the foot of our bed.

Very nice.
Here's another picture of part of the fishing tournament crowd, including Kirby in the middle.

Love you all, Grandma
