There he is with his dad.  He has two long-legged parents, and those long legs on that baby.

It's fun.

There's live music every Friday night at the Potter's Shed in Shell Lake.  How did we never know this?

Pandemic, probably.

Anyway, it was great.

sweetest

This was given to me on Sunday, at the last minute before they left the lake, a flower she'd made at Bible School, and decorated as a gift.

There are rainbow hearts on one side,

And a picture of my dog is on the other.

 In a week where I've been feeling a little beat up, this was so unexpected, so sweet, and so incredibly kind it made me cry.

My darling, thank you.

These two guys showed up one afternoon after lacrosse and ate supper with us, all a surprise.   

It's nice to have grandchildren who can drive, and who can find your house!

And that guy in the gray shirt offered to come over on Monday and help me babysit while his brother and sister were gone at nature camp.

Heck, yeah!

I'm not turning down any thirteen year old who wants to come over for any reason.  A grandma can't have a better day than that.
