this week

Thanksgiving is in one week, so I'm doing the usual once a year cleaning--washing curtains and rugs. Today all the doll dishes were washed, the doll clothes, dress up clothes, even the stuffed animals went through the wash. The last of the animals are in the dryer now.

The house has been dusted.  Last year's Christmas cards were thrown away.

When I was hanging up the curtain in the bathroom, noticed that all three floors were visible in the dark--the plumbing office down low, all the leaves gone that usually block the window. The living room in the middle and Julia's window up high. That's the turkey's butt over to the left.

Tim won this light and brought it home.  It's kind of awesome, really gives the kitchen and dining room some much needed  pizazz.

Even turned Jay's lips purple.

Tomorrow there's more to do.  I scraped all the old dap off the bathtub, so that's getting done over.  Hope it lasts.   And the basement of the family room is on the agenda for tomorrow, shudder.   It'll be fine.  It's just hard to face.

And now it is the end of today.

Love, Val
