yay!

So this lizard went to the vet over a month ago and the ultrasound showed her to be distended with eggs.

The vet said they can reabsorb. We hoped he was right, and have been worrying over her every day that she doesn't eat.  She licked a wax worm one day.  Kari bought nutritional supplement and we've fed her that a few times, a few drops. She hated it.

Well she's been looking less distended the last ten days or so, which is interesting, and her color seemed better.

Last night Kari came racing into the family room late in the evening, "She ate a cricket!"

We ran upstairs and she ate two more.

Kari and I cheered and did high fives. Then we hugged and jumped for joy.

Lilli is going to be okay.

memorial day, 2023

It was an exceptional Memorial Day with perfect weather every single day.

The kids have grown up so much, are so independent and agreeable.  They seldom throw fits anymore, and their fighting is more bickery and underground.

More pictures to come.

Love you all, MOM aka Grandma

The park where they met for pictures was a popular photo desination.

What a lovely occasion.  You guys look fantastic.

musical events

The dance recital was this weekend, and what a polished, festive event it was.
That's our ballerina on the left. She did a beautiful job.

The girl on the left is a neighbor who is at their house as much as any cousin.   It's so nice to have neighbors like this.  And the cousins are just a little horde of buddies.  Its vey nice.
These guys had their spring concert, and the orchestra has come a long way since last fall.
They're getting pretty good.  It's fun to see the progress and watch these kids all grow.
Onward.

May, you have not disappointed.   Love, Grandma

spring .

We went to a lacrosse game, never been to one before.  It was interesting and entertaining.
It is a pretty fierce sport.

Friday night they showed up at the cabin and we played a loud game of Apples to Apples before bed, and what a nice night it was.
