It's been a good week, but a strange week.
This is the first it has been really cold, and that was odd.
Christmas shopping is almost finished, but no wrapping so far.
Monday Maria and I had lunch with my parents and I took only a couple pics, but wish there had been more. This guy was just a lovey little sweetheart. His brother was super impressed with the squirrels all over the deck, skipping around. He loved that, and we went to the bedroom looking for toys. First I showed him the potato heads.
"Nah."
Then the super heroes.
"Guys."
Then the box with the match box cars.
"Yay!"
We started baking, and these are fine. They quit making Ritz Bits, so now we've moved on to these. Not sure how I feel about them. Jay even made a special trip to the store for more pretzels. We'll see how this goes.
And there was youth basketball, always a good time. It's fun to see the players and the progress they've made since last year, close games, exciting games, very fun.
And this guy had a beautiful winter concert, AND he's cast in the musical, so that was good news! He's talented, so they will be pleased.
And that's the end of this for now.
Friday, so glad to see you.
Love, Val
