a few more from saturday night

Dewey is chasing a pencil she's poking into the holes on the box.   It's better to use a pencil than fingers.  The cat is quick and he has sharp little claws.

Normally their feet feel like little tiny velvet boots.  Yeah, not when chasing things.

This puppy was so tired out.  She loves it when kids are in the house.

I do too.

pictures from a monday

I bought these little bird guys from Target last year on clearance.

They liked them.

Under the table, could hear them talking to each other, and the little birds were saying, "Peep, peep, peep."

Lunch!

Or as Heidi used to call it, "Lalala Hunch."

Grandpa starting up the nap.

One more child, again defeated by body heat.
Ahhh.

You guys make Mondays better.

march

When I got out of the car in the dark, the mud next to the driveway slurped onto my shoe and almost pulled it off.

A couple days ago we were creeping around so we wouldn't slip on the ice.

It looks like a lake across the park in the dark, an optical illusion.

March, you sweet devil.  Glad you're here.  Love, Val
