friday at the lake

I worked Friday, but they had a good day anyway, had some time watching Dance Moms.

Later John and this child arrived and so did Dalton and Maria with their baby.
They were working on projects with art clay, turned out very cute.

happy birthday!

It was a wild, giddy time.

And gifts, were Grandma Stacy and I gave the same cat camera. She said she didn't care. She wanted two.

Okay then.

Round two. She does not need any help with the candles, thanks.

It has been so much fun having you for a kid.

You make the whole family better with you in it.

Happy 7th Birthday, and all the wishes possible for a wonderful year ahead.

We love you like crazy, Grandma and Grandpa and Everybody

virtual staging

Was trying to give the listing a little pizazz, so I contacted the photographer and ordered some virtual staging.

Wow!!

a beautiful weekend

The dog made me snicker. She thinks she's a person.
Cheri and Kim were there with us this weekend, and they are very easy company, could not be more agreeable guests.

We ate some good meals. The guys went fishing one day and golfing another.

These two clowns dragged an old fishing boat up and a trolling motor was exhumed from Mike's shed.

And the new crayons were a hit. What is it about new crayons?

Ahhh, August.

storm clouds

They make an ordinary parking lot look like something in an Art History book.

first saturday in august

The pups were happy to see each other.
Hot, hot, hot.
Three air conditioners crapped out and the washing machine--the pump died.

So.

There you go.

There might be some air conditioners on sale.  We'll see. The washing machine is about forty years old and had a broken spring, one of the big ones that holds the drum steady, so it was wild and noisy on the spin cycle.  Now the pump is shot?  Doubt we're going to have it repaired, if we could even get parts.

We'll see.

In the evening the storms came in and what a peaceful evening.
