All the creations were unique and charming, even John's made from toast which caved in from the weight of the frosting.
Saw Dan and Alicia and those kids briefly but did not think to take any pictures of those giddy, sweet kids, so much laughing out on the porch as they examined the array or Christmas ornaments I presented for them to choose from, and saw Kirsten for a very welcome visit, ahhhh. Then showed houses with Little Jay and Katie. Big Jay cooked delicious meals. It was a very fine weekend, as much as weekends like this are.
After a long day, the wrapping is 95% done, gingerbread ready to go in the mail, and it's the end of a fine Sunday night.
Onward. In 35 minutes it'll be tomorrow. Love, ValSadly, a person very dear to us, so special, so talented, down to earth, funny and kind--had to go on a ventilator yesterday morning in the ICU, covid of course. Sending so many good wishes her way, can't even believe she is having to go through this, feel for her family so much too. xo.
