We can handle that. We went to the Target where Julia works and she joined us when she was done.
Then Applebee's before we took her home.
After the snowstorm last night, everything is glowy and blue. When snow fell off the trees earlier it made me think of that scene in 101 Dalmatians where Cruella is driving like a maniac through the snow, coat flying, eyes wild.
And then on the ride home? This:We had nothing for her to wipe her face even, so I passed her one of my soft velour gloves, not the scratchy wool mittens. She apologized. Goodness, Girlfriend! Nothing about this is your fault! We just gotta get you home to a hot shower and your bed.
Terrible.
She said there have been other birthdays where there has been vomiting. This isn't the first.
Well, that's just dreadful.
Heidi said it seems to be a rapid bug--throw up, fine within a few hours.
Hoping for that.
Anyway, hoping tomorrow, your real birthday, is a much better day.Love you lots, Grandma and Grandpa and Everybody.
