getting ready for easter

This spring, I am severely lacking in ambition, so tired.  Every day tired.  I have lists of ambitious things, but then opt for a nap instead.  It's absurd and annoying.  The Easter decorations were never brought out.  Kari gave me this beautiful Easter tree, and I love it.

Tonight we watched Heidi's kids over suppertime, fed them pancakes and sausage and fried egg sandwiches.   They played video games for a while and then we did the Easter eggs.

These tulips from the Maple Grove Walmart?  Practically free and quite lovely.
Okay, so they each have a pot holder to keep their eggs steady while they color on them with crayons.

She colored on hers and also did a bit of licking. Then she banged it on the table a few times and threw it overboard.

We gave her some paper to draw on instead after that.
These are from Sherry next door, perfectly beautiful.  Spring is going to get here one of these days. There was snow on the patio this morning, so unwelcome, diet coke full of ice, fizzy and overflowing.  Give us the daisies instead.

Blurry, but good--she fake sneezes on Kleenex and is saying more and more words. (Plus bit a kid at daycare again, yikes, written up.  Please don't be doing that.)

Happy Friday!  Best day of the week, love, Val
