boat ride before bed

 This little girl ran to get out of her wet bathing suit and then appeared wearing THIS.

It's some kind of velour unicorn suit.  When I turned and saw her, I jumped.   It's very cute, but totally unexpected.

 They had the idea to bring their remote control boat along and drive it with us.   It was a fine idea, but  quite impractical.  It had to be fished out of the water three times before John said that was the end.

Summer evenings don't come any better.
