feeling like fall

The hydrangeas are all shades of pink, so pretty.

This little girl is playing with a moose she borrowed from my mother.

The maple tree is always the first tree to turn colors and have leaves fall. It's a beautiful tree, one of the best things about this house.  We bought this place in 1988, the week before Halloween so we didn't know about this tree for another year.

This guy out front is looking pretty gorgeous.

Today we went to Petco to buy crickets, and there were poopy diapers as we arrived.  Whee.  That's okay, lets get our crickets and go back to Grandma's to change diapers and have some lunch.

These goofy goblets have been around a long time.  It feels like just last year Dan's kids were drinking out of them--they hold about two tablespoons of beverage at a time, but that's okay. Less to spill.

And this fine canine getting a belly rub, oh my goodness, we have so many old dogs in our life these days. Jay was hugging John's old dog this week, and she was so happy to see him.  This girl is like my best friend some days.   I've got Sidney here beside me, little fluff of cotton she is.
Onward.  October is looking fine.

Plus tomorrow is FRIDAY!  Best day of the week.

So much love, Val
