labor day

 It was a fine, hot weekend.

We don't have a clothesline back here, just this:

Chip dip:

Mix 8 oz cream cheese, 8 oz sour cream, a packet of taco seasoning.

When smooth blend in half a jar of medium salsa

Spread in a pan and top with shredded lettuce and cheese

Saturday night we attended our nephew's wedding, very special occasion.

Dan says home or at the lake, they all get on HIS bed with the video games.

We stayed until Tuesday and had a quiet day cleaning and mowing.

It was the FIRST first day of school since 1984 that we have not had any kids in grades K-12.

Felt kind of momentous and kind of ordinary at the same time.
