This weekend was lovely. The days are long and the sun is bright. Winter is on the way out.
This is from Thursday, three little girls waiting to eat lunch at my parents. It was delicious. They were busy and funny.
This was today, Alicia's parents hanging out with us and Heidi's gang, spending the afternoon together, eating and having fun.
The Leprechauns threw candy all over the Barbies and Legos and left their usual mean note. The kids love this. Dan thanked me for this, but actually the thanking should be from my side. What fun is any of this nonsense without kids?
My kids are big now. They like candy and mean notes left by Leprechauns, but they're way beyond this really now.
The dogs at the door, pestering. No, go do dog activities. You only want to come in here to raid leftovers and pace over the babies.
Here's Tim and one lone little tiny niece playing Mario Kart together. She didn't scream, howl or curse.
Amazing.
So much love. It's already Monday.
Love, Grandma
