We went to a wedding in Duluth this weekend, the oldest daughter of a childhood friend, and we had a great time.
The wedding was at the Sacred Heart Music Center, an old Catholic church that has been de-sanctified, whatever that means exactly. It's beautiful inside, an old and fancy, used to be the main cathedral in the area, over 120 years old, stained glass and arched ceiling.
We were seated at a table with college friends of the groom, so we didn't know these people at all, but they were so friendly and sweet. The bride was gorgeous, the groom very handsome. My friend's family is very dear to me, her children, and her brothers and sisters and parents, and it was so fun to spend an evening with all of them.
Anyway, kind of wish we could hit re-wind and do this one more time, just to take in more details and enjoy it all again.
