painting and baking

It's been a quiet week, good. Here are a few pictures for fun:








We have more baking to do, and frosting, and a big snowstorm is scheduled to hit tonight. Hopefully I'll be done working this evening before the roads get bad. Then we can just be here and bake cookies all night.

I guess Tim's a shepherd and Julia and Kari are angels in the Christmas program. It should be interesting.

Last year the Sunday School kids dragged all the animal cut outs from the church storage room, so we even had big bunny rabbits with bright pink ears next to the baby Jesus.

Tim had on what we thought was a decent sheep costume--white, black ears, but the kids who had placed the Easter Bunnies were concerned, "Snoopy was not at Bethlehem!" True, but everyone was happy, and the story was read. It was all good. Friday's here. Onward to the weekend. love, Val
