Yes, it did. These people came to have lunch and hang around today. Look at that baby. He's right on the verge of smiling, and looks so much like his brother it's a little bit hilarious.
I told Alicia she gave birth to the same baby twice.
Okay, this cute picture of them was taken last summer. They still look the same.
Heidi brought her dog today. Lately she's been leaving her home because she's gained so much weight eating all Sam and Sidney's food. She does it too. She barges Sam right out of the dog dish and eats it all.
Sam's actually down ten pounds these days. At 130, she's smaller than I am again. Yeah. Heidi's dog is voracious.
She also cries a lot. I told Heidi next time she brings her to send Kleenex.
The dogs want to go out--yes, go! Go out into the yard and do your dog thing! But no, she's back on the step crying, and crying.
Inside the house, any time she's on the wrong side of a baby gate, the boo hooing never stops. Well, depending on where people are, she could be on the outside of a baby gate at any point.
Wah, wah, wah.
Here however, on my bed, she's not experiencing the least bit of crying. Her head is on one pillow and her butt on the other.
Which pillow do you want, Honey? Can we tell which is which?
Here's Tim, after amusing b.g. with the helicopters and legos, now trying to get the new brother to smile.
Okay, here's the little girl with the Chipmunks. She found them in the family room today and likes them.
Jay was looking at them this morning and asked where they came from?
I told him I found yesterday!
"Here in the house? Or you bought them?"
"Oh, yes, that's a distinction. I found them at the grocery store and BOUGHT them."
He laughed, and then had them dance on his knees, singing the Witch Doctor, "Ooh, eeeh, ooh, ahh, ahh, ting, tang, walla-walla, bing-bang."
We laughed, "Where did THAT come from, what all crap is STUCK in our BRAINS?"
Probably a LOT.
And here she goes on two feet, so fast she's blurry.
And here, the tulip buds I bought (not FOUND) at the grocery store the other night, are already blooming. I transplanted them into the Valentine planter for fun.
Happy February, and tomorrow is Friday, and that's just even better. love, Val
