trip to the zoo

In the banner on this blog, Kari, in the white jacket is the little pipsqueak in the pink coat. The rest of them were not born yet.

We had a good time, but it was a work out.  I had the stroller with the baby in it, and kept track of those two boys, who were very good and not prone to running off.

The two aunties kept the little child going, which was a two-person job, for sure.

This statue is called The Crest of the Wave.

The child tried to get IN the fountain. The aunties stopped her.

The wedding chapel where our niece had her wedding a few years ago:

 St. Francis

 Koi pond

 Japanese Garden

 St. Paul in the winter.

That was a very cool sculpture:

I packed a lunch and we ate it on benches in the big stone hallway in the sun.

There's a big snake in that box.

 I love the light fixtures.

Last picture, taken on the way back to the car.
It was the first 50 degree day of the year, felt wonderful to be outside walking in the sun and the wind, so ready for spring we are.

Thanks kids for making this such a perfect Wednesday.

Love, Mom, aka Grandma
