We took a little road trip up to my sister's house to drop off a birthday gift for my niece, and then we went to the nursery nearby. This nursery used to have a location near us, but they closed it a couple years ago, sold their land to a charter school.
So we took the opportunity go to the nursery near Pam's. It was fun. I had the big double-kid stroller, and it was hotter than the devil inside, but breezy and bright outside. We wandered around a little, and then bought our Morning Glory seeds, and our Candy Corn Vine and a few other things and came home.
We were still outside planting and playing when the kids got home from school.
This is not really an actual fairy garden because it's all resin and cute, nothing from nature except the dirt and the plant. But it was fun. I thought she'd be interested in this, the pretty pot and the fairies.
Nope, not really.
What she hopped out of the stroller and was so impressed by? This Melissa and Doug shovel.
She asked me if she could have it?
I mean, yes. Of course. Get back in the stroller. Here it is.
After the work was done, we went inside and with the fan blowing and some insane program on TV, they both conked out.
Lovely day, lovely babies.
Love, Grandma
