This was found while James was cleaning his room. It was an intense cleaning situation, having been years, and a lot of stuff, and yeah.
This was found, along with the mouthpiece for a tuba.
We had no idea what it was, but Aaron, viola player, the orchestra student, knew: it's little thing-a-ma-jig for cello players. Put the far end of the strip under a chair leg, and then place the foot of the cello in that little circle, keeps the instrument from slipping on a tile floor.
Wow, very cool.
Great.
Except in all ten kids? We have exactly ZERO cello players, and among their friends who might have left this here?
Also zero.
So there you go. A mystery, to be sure.
So much love, Val
