tie-dye and parade

Maria planned this and bought dye and over a dozen t-shirts.

Rubber bands were applied and then dye.  Out in the grass is the place for this.

Gloves could be used, but we did not.  Stained fingers and hands were everywhere.

That dog is on the job:

The shirts turned out beautiful.  There are more shirts to be tie-dyed in the future.

And then there was the parade in town:

It was bright and hot.

And then, when the heat and dust reached a crescendo, we retreated back out to the lake where it was cooler and there was water.

What a beautiful weekend.

So much love, Val
