Happy birthday!

 You came to this family so many years ago, and I'm so glad you did.  You are devoted to your family and to your work, and to the rest of us, and you go about it all with your own style and sense of purpose.

You're an experienced teacher now, and an experienced mother, and now you get to raise teenagers next, and it's going to be a lot of fun, even the baffling parts.   You've done baffling before.

Onward, to a new school year and another birthday.
