terrifying

This is Elin hiding from the chirping smoke detector.  Apparently stuffing herself under my desk will save her.  At first she got very close. Then all at once she dove between my knees and the desk and trembled.   Jay brought home a new battery between plumbing calls, and all was well again.

This was the sight out the front window this morning.   Not a fan, but it was gone by noon.
 

Onward.
