i did ask

I told they kids they should work on Christmas lists because after Thanksgiving, you know, the time will go fast until Christmas.

What Tim told me he wants?

A jet pack and a chainsaw.

Well.   Sigh.

He added, "If I had those, I could do a LOT of stuff."

No doubt that's true.
