Hers, her kid, is this guy.

Whoops, that's a picture of Tim scowling at the zoo during one of their past visits.

Here's the guy, in a picture from 2003, the first time we spent a week together.

This is her oldest son.   Maria was about ten, and doted on him, carefully picked all the peas out of his toddler stew meals.  Our guinea pig, Patrick, died that week too, and she talked us into getting Maria a dog, which was the Sidney.

Whoops, again. This is the second son, cherub, same visit.

Okay, back to my original point.  This guy is growing up fast, and is a very cool, very astute person, and when you look back on your life, R, this guy is going to be known as one of your very best friends.
