On the patio later in the afternoon:
Maria and I took the kids to Sunnylane Park for lunch. It's a great park: no busy road, no pond, quiet, port-a-potty, picnic tables.
This reminds me of a line from my favorite poem, by e.e. cummings:
"...for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes."
Summer has arrived, just that gorgeous. Love, Val
