where a friend spent her honeymoon

This is Mismaloya Beach--site of the filming of the 1963 movie Night of the Iguana, which we were told began Puerto Vallarta's identity as a tourist destination.

I didn't know until today that she'd been there. Oh gosh, what a gorgeous place to be.

We were there on vacation last week and took these pictures.

Oh yeah, it was fun.

Tonight is our family Christmas party. The energy is awful high around here. I think I should harness some of it to get the place straightened up. Happy, happy Friday.
