I found this goofy snowglobes at Target, and half a dozen others-- they all had a fitting theme. It was a little weird.
Dannell brought the kids and dragged John over too, to see our puppy.
They played video games and ate snacks, ran around. The house is fairly tousled, but it was that way before anyone got here.
Maria and James were both home from college for the night, and we all had supper. It was my friend Lorene's casserole:
Broccoli (We used 3 big bags)
Chicken breasts (About 5)
Cream of Mushroom Soup (2 large cans)
Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Enough to cover the surface well)
Stove Top Stuffing mix (We used 3 boxes)
Boil the chicken breasts in one kettle and the broccoli in another. Use your own judgement on the amounts.
Put the broccoli in a pan or roaster, spread the diced chicken over it. Spread on the soup. Sprinkle with cheese.
Prepare the stove top according to directions and then spread over the top and bake until hot.
This little guy was happy to have his picture taken and demonstrated several faces for me:
This little girl is almost two and almost talking.
Gingerbread house:
I love these nights when it snows and is bright outside all night.
Love, Val
