Yeah, Mother's Day was great. Heidi and Joe cooked, and Jay and Alicia, John and Dannell and Kirsten, and it was awesome.
Then we drove out to Wisconsin to visit my mother's mom, the sole remaining member of that generation. Even with her bad heart, she's as fearless, beautiful, and sweet as ever.
And she insisted on feeding us.
We ate: ravioli and potato soup.
In this picture, Heidi is demonstrating how her little girl will not allow anyone to sit in her child sized foam rubber chairs. She'll assault them, do whatever it takes to toss them OUT.
Here they are, the aunties and the nephews, doing what, who knows?
This is Grandpa and a couple- a guys early this morning.
This is a picture of b.g. and p.j. He plays piano and she jumps on the couch.
Stories. This story happened to be about potty training. It got pretty personal. People were uncomfortable.
Okay this is the tiniest grandchild. Dannell has to take clothes off him trying to wake him up.
Not working all that well, but his toes were delightful and that little neck to die for. She took off more clothes and he woke up screaming for BOOOB!
Awww, buddy, you tiny, little guy.
Here they're playing with the Rescue Heroes basket of junk.
Whee. It's the end of Tuesday.
And, just so you know, Dan and Alicia have been married for EIGHT years now, and still seem to like each other quite a bit.
Oh, goodness, that's a pretty picture. Love you both like crazy. love, Mom and Dad and all the rest.
