a beautiful week

These are from Saturday before the heat arrived yesterday.   The kids were here for lunch.  Jay and Maria made pizzas and they were amazing.  She has tricks from Dominos for making the crust crisper and lighter.

We decided this summer that this little play yard fence could go away.   We originally put up for Little Jay because Spooner lifted his leg on all the toys constantly.  But Little Jay doesn't need it anymore.

And Spooner passed away almost ten years ago.

Plus it doesn't contain any grandbabies, only infuriates them and the dogs always are wanting to be inside it where we are on the patio.

It's over.
Some birthday gifts for Tim:

Here he's demonstrating the noise his belly button makes.  That was interesting.  I guess the night before he told his parents that one nipple turns his rockets on and the other turns them off.

I love that.

Today I teased this little girl about Curious George, "You and your damned monkey."

She tilted her chin at me and smirked, "Not damned monkey.  He nice."

Oh my goodness.
Onward.  It's the end of a fine Tuesday and tomorrow is looking pretty spectacular too.

love forever, MOM
